Turkey and Egypt run on different curves. In winter the Red Sea stays swimmable while the Turkish Riviera turns quiet and cheap.

Ukrainian citizens enter Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, so a two-week beach stay needs only a valid passport. Egypt requires an e-visa for many nationalities, applied for online and printed before departure. Verify both on the official government portals, not on a booking site.
See the visa rules side by sideTurkey is most reliable from June to September. Egypt runs longer, from May to October. Aim for a sea temperature above 24°C so toddlers stay in the water, and pick early June or late September to dodge peak crowds and peak prices.
Plan on roughly $80 to $150 per day in Turkey and $60 to $120 in Egypt, covering an all-inclusive resort, transfers and a couple of excursions. Rates move far more with the week you choose than with the country.
Open the budget breakdownLarge Turkish resorts commonly run kids clubs, fenced pools and beach lifeguards. In Egypt, look for hotels with shallow lagoons, which remove the wave risk for small swimmers, and confirm that a pediatric clinic is a short drive away. Ask the hotel for the nearest hospital name in writing.
Read the current advisory from your own government and from the destination country's foreign ministry in the week you book, then again a week before departure. Advisories change faster than any travel article, and insurance covering children and medical evacuation is not optional.
